OBSERVATION

This question demanded for a detailed character sketch of Louka and her contributions to the development of the plot. Candidates were expected to comment on each trait of Louka’s character in relation to the themes of the play; for example Louka’s intelligence, pride, gossip, scheme, contempt and carriage was used to break the barrier in the social status to climb a step higher up the social ladder.

Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was good.
