Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:

-           express themselves in questions requiring them to explain in detail;
-           attempt questions in design;
-           explain how to harden and temper a cold chisel in a workshop.

       SUGGESTED REMEDIES

In order to overcome these weaknesses it was suggested that the candidates should study the subject thoroughly before sitting for the examination.
