(f)        Give three compositional elements used by the photographer.
(g)        Give one reason for any of your answers in 2(f) above.

Observation

The candidates were able to interpret the pictures vividly. The performance was good.   The candidates were expected to provide the following answers to the question:

(a)        -           A uniform man(soldier/Police/Military) with a wind /musical    
instrument/Tuba in a company of officers on an outing.      
-           military band/ a group of military performers.   
-           A Scene from military /soldiers/ Police /events. 

(b)        -           button;

-           crest/logo/badges;
-           shoe;
-           tree/vegetation/ plants/leaves/foliage;
-           cap;

-           ground/soil;

(d)       It is the dominant/prominent object that fills the larger part of the frame.

(g)(i)    Low angle
Helps in seeing the facial expression of the main subject.
(ii)    Closeness
Closeness allows the photographer to emphasis the instrument.
(iii)   Shapes
The shapes of the wind instrument and the caps are oval.
(iv)   Lines
Parts of the wind instrument show straight and curve lines with the overall
division of the frame into two  diagonal lines.
(v)    Centre of interest/focus
The wind instrument attracts viewers eye such that other elements within the
frame are rendered secondary.
