Weakness and Remedies
Candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:
- dribble the hockey ball around placed from a marked line
- demonstrate the rubrics in the 1,500 metres race,
- skillfully demonstrate approach, hand placement, take-off, leg position and landing, the performance of through vault

The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:
- allotment of time on school time-table for physical education programmes will help the students to acquire sports skills.
- teachers should concentrate more on teaching both practical and theoretical aspect of hockey and tennis games
- provision of sports equipment and facilities in schools
