Weakness & Remedies

• Lack of detailed attention to instructions;
• Providing definitions of terms without the use of specific keywords;
• Lack of understanding regarding semiconductors and their practical uses;
• Poor problem-solving skills;
• Having difficulty solving math problems accurately in the context of Physics;
• The diagrams that were attempted to be drawn by most candidates are not up to par.

Based on the observed weaknesses, the Chief Examiners recommended as follows:

• Candidates should take proper note of instructions;
• Teachers should emphasize specific keywords in the definition of terms;
• Teachers should be encouraged to revise semiconductors and their practical uses with the students;
• Students should be encouraged to attempt past questions;
• It is highly recommended to encourage students to practice essential diagrams in Physics.
