Observation

 

Candidates found it difficult to state the similarities between these two concepts. They in resorted to differentiating between them in both part (a) and (b) of the question. 

The responses expected from candidates are:


(a) Similarities between Salesmanship and Marketing.
          (i) Salesmanship and Marketing aim at promoting the sales of a company’s product.
           (ii) Both aim at generating revenue for the company.
           (iii) Both use promotional tools in their operations.                                                  
           (iv) Both aim at building relationship with customers for the company.
           (v) Both create employment opportunities.
