Candidate Weakness and Remedies

Candidates were reported to have shown weakness in the following areas:

1. development;
2. true length;
3. orthographic projection;
4. drawing the required locus in outline;
5. construction of diagonal scale;
6. differentiating between isometric and oblique drawings;
7. conversion of orthographic projection to isometric drawing.

SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

Candidates are hereby advised to work harder and practice regularly using the appropriate drawing equipments.  Candidates should also endeavour to attend tutorial classes and learn the basic principles in Technical Drawing and more so concentrate more on their weak areas and prepare adequately for the examination.
