Observation
This question was attempted by a few candidates that performed poorly. The candidates were expected to answer in this manner:
A. DRAWING
- Effective drawing of figures and objects at the stream scenery.
(ii) Emphasis on use of perspective and proportions.
B. COMPOSITION
(i) Suitable arrangement of figures and objects to achieve balance, rhythm,
variety, unity etc.
(ii) Judicious use of space provided to specification (40cm by 30cm).
(iii) Should depict a suitable background, at the stream.
C. COLOUR
(i) Choice of harmonious and contrasting colours.
(ii) Proper use of tonal range and texture.
(iii) Effective mixing and application of colours, in ink wash.
D. INTERPRETATION
(i) Appropriate visual representation: At the stream.
E. ORIGINALITY
- Overall visual effect of the work.
