The Chief Examiner reported that the standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. He also stated that all the questions were drawn from topics that are within the syllabus. The rubrics of the questions were as for the previous years and there was no ambiguous question. The marking scheme was clear and favoured the candidates as there were more method marks to be awarded. Candidates’ performance also compared with those of previous years. No significant difference was noted in their performance.
