7. Introduction of modern transportation system;
8. Introduction of lingua franca;
9. Abolition of obnoxious cultural practices i.e. human sacrifices;
10. The exploitation of west Africa resources;
11. Introduction of modern technology in mining, agriculture etc.;
12. Introduction of cash crops like cocoa, cashew, rubber etc.
