Question 12
(a) Bayyana wadannan nau’o’in magani, a takaice:
(i) sassake;
(ii) turare;
(iii) gashi.
(b) Kawo wurare uku-uku inda wadannan suka kware.
(i) wanzami;
(ii) madori;
(iii) ungozoma.
Observation
The question above is on Customs and Institutions (Al’ada). In question 12(a) , candidates were required to explain the types of traditional medicine enumerated above, while in 12(b) candidates were required to mention three areas each where they specialized in traditional medicine.
Thus:

i. Sassake: Wannan nau’i ne na magani da ake sassako bayan itatuwa a shanya. Idan sun bushe, a daka su a turmi a yi garinsu ana amfani da shi a matsayin magani. Wani lokaci kuma akan jika sassaken ne kawai ko a dafa.
ii. Turare: Itutuwa ne da wasu hakukuwa ko sansami ko wasu tsummokara ko gashi ko wasu ‘ya’yan tsirrai da ake zubawa a cikin kasko ko kwano mai garwashi a ciki. Sai hayakin ya tashi sama, ana zaton hakan zai sa ya kori cutar da ake yi wa magani.
iii. Sakiya: Nau’i ne na magani da ake yi ta amfani da wuta, inda za a tura kibiya a cikinta. Idan ta yi zafi sosai, sai a ɗauko ta a manna ko a tsire a wajen da ciwon yake.

i. Wanzami: aski, gyaran fuska, kaciya, ƙaho, cire beli, tsagar ƃalli–ƃalli, tsagar gado, cire gurya, d.s.
ii. Maɗori : ɗori, gyaran targaɗe, gyaran gociya, gyaran tsagewar ƙashi, bayar da maganin ciwon gaƃƃai, d.s.
iii. Ungozoma: yankan cibiya, binne mahaifa, tafasa wa mai jego ruwan wanka, kula da renon jariri, share ɗakin mai jego, yi wa mai jego wanka.
