Thus:
Ƙira sana’a ce ta sarrafa ƙarfe zuwa abubuwan da ake so ya zama, kamar fartanya, ko garma, ko lauje, ko wuƙa, da makamantansu. Kayan ƙira sun haɗa da gawayi, da wuta, da uwar maƙera, da zuga-zugi, da guduma, da awartaki, da matsokani, da ruwa, da sauransu.
Idan maƙerin baƙin ƙarfe ya yanka ƙarfensa gwargwadon abin da yake so ya ƙera, sai ya saka shi cikin wutar gawayi a yi ta zuga ta da zuga-zugi har sai ƙarfen ya yi ja zur. Daga nan sai a sa awartaki a ciro ƙarfen daga wuta a ɗora shi bisa uwar maƙera a yi ta duka har ya zama abin da aka yi niyyar ƙerawa.
