Observation

This was a popular question but the candidates’ performance was below average. They failed to understand the demands of the question and score low marks.  The candidates were expected to write the following points as answers to the question.

(a)(i) Igbo-Ukwu

(ii) Ile-Ife/Ife
(iii) Nok
(iv) Tada
(v) Esre
(vi) Benin

(b)(i) They showed social and economic integration of neighbouring states.

(ii) They also became sites for learning.
(iii) They depicted the various types of archaeological remains.
(iv) They showed life style of the people.
(v) The remains showed their origin.
(vi) They showed the diverse civilizations of the people.
