General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible.

The performance of the candidates was worse than the previous year with candidates’ population of 7,291 which had a raw mean score of 21.0 and standard deviation of 7.00 against the WASSCE for School Candidates 2019 which had candidates’ population of 7,489 with a raw mean score of 23.0 and standard deviation of 9.38.
