General Comments
The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were unambiguous and also covered a wide range of the syllabus, the rubrics were also clear. The marking scheme was comprehensive and flexible.
The performance of the candidates was better than the previous year with a candidates population of 6,643 which had a raw mean score of 61 and standard deviation 11.27 against a raw mean score of 32 and standard deviation of 15.17 for the May/June 2015 WASSCE, which had a candidates population of 5, 951.
