Most candidates were able to:
- list three materials used for the manufacture of water supply pipes.
- sketch the conventional symbol of each of the following electrical fittings:
- electric fan;
- fluorescent lamp;
- two-way switch.
However, many of them failed to use a sketch to illustrate the smoke method of testing a drainage system.
