Candidates' Weakness

The following reasons contributed to some inadequacies observed in the performance of the candidates:

- Spelling errors

- Lack of knowledge on GSM phone acronyms

-Lack of practical knowledge on GSM phone repair

- Inability to identify phone components correctly

- Inability to communicate their points effectively using appropriate terms

-The suggested remedies were as follows:

- All areas of the syllabus should be adequately taught by the teachers

- More practical work is encouraged in schools;

- Candidates should observe their industrial attachment scheme as recommended in the syllabus;

- The need for Government and other stake holders to make available relevant resource materials and textbooks.
