This questions was attempted by many candidates and their performance was fair. In part (a)(i) candidates correctly named the parts labelled I, V, VI and VII and  in (a)(ii) candidates could not correctly mention movements possible at the joint between the parts labeled III and IV.

In part (b)(i) and (ii) candidates could not correctly named the type of joint between II and VIII and III and IV.  In part (c) candidates correctly mentioned injury that could affect the part labelled II.  In part (d) candidates also correctly mentioned mineral salts found in the human skeleton.

However, the expected answers are as follows:
