Weakness/Remedies

The candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

  • write correct spellings/wrong labellings.
  • understand questions before answering them.
  • label diagrams/structures appropriately.
  • use appropriate words/terms in health education for expression.
  • cover the examination syllabus.

The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:

  • teachers should emphasize correct spellings of words and labellings.
  • students should make use of the dictionary when reading and checking of unfamiliar words.
  • terminologies should be properly taught during teaching.
  • both teachers and students should cover the syllabus before the on-set of the examination.
  • charts should be used as teaching aid during teaching and learning for better understanding of diagrams/structures.
