The candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

                      - write correct spellings/wrong labellings.

                      - understand questions before answering them.

                      - label diagrams/structures appropriately.

                      - use appropriate words/terms in health education for expression.

                      - cover the examination syllabus.

The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:

                      - teachers should emphasize correct spellings of words and labellings.

                      - students should make use of the dictionary when reading and checking of unfamiliar words.

                      - terminologies should be properly taught during teaching.

                      - both teachers and students should cover the syllabus before the on-set of the examination.

                      - charts should be used as teaching aid during teaching and learning for better understanding of diagrams/structures.
