The standard of the paper compares favourably with those of the previous years. The marking scheme was comprehensive and the spread of the questions covered the topics in the syllabus prescribed for the examination. However, it is obvious from the performance of the candidates that certain sections of the syllabus were neglected by teachers who handle the subject.
Candidates’ performance has slightly improved.
