Observation

 

 

Candidates were asked to define a verb, verb root, an auxiliary verb, an infinitive and also classify some words into their grammatical classes.

 

The following points were expected:
(a)   - Ngwaa bụ okwu na-ezipụta ihe a na-eme, ihe e mere, ihe a ga-eme, ọdịdị na ọnọdụ ihe.
       - Ọ bụ ihe na-enye ahịrịokwu nghọta zuru oke.

(b) i.     Isingwaa: nke a bụ ngalaba ngwaa na-ebu nghọta e nwere na ngwaa.
            - Ọ bụ mgbochiume na ụdaume ka e ji emebe ya.
            - Mgbochiume na-ebu ụzọ na mmebe isingwaa.
            - Isingwaa na-ebu mgbakwụnye.
    ii.     Nnyemakangwaa: nke a na-enyere ngwaa/omekangwaa aka iji rụọ ọrụ ya.
    iii.     Infinitiv: nke a bụ nsinangwaa nke a na-emepụta site n’ịgbakwụnye nganihu i/ị n’isingwaa.

               - Infinitiv anaghị enwe mbido na njedebe.

     iv.     Ngwaa ukwu: nke a bụ ụdị ngwaa nwee out isingwaa/ngwaa nnọrọonwe na mgbakụnye.
