Candidates were expected to discuss the following points:
- The differences are both social and behavioural; Raina’s high class versus Louka’s low class.
- Raina’s idealism versus Louka’s realism. Raina believes she is superior while Louka sees her as her equal.
- Raina’s complacency about marriage versus Louka’s grand desire to use marriage to climb up the social ladder.
- Louka’s scheming nature versus Raina’s lukewarmness etc.
The question was quite a popular one. But most candidates dwelt on separate character sketches of Raina and Louka. Candidates’ performance was good.
