Observation

The question was attempted by most of the candidates. Candidates that attempted the question performed very well. Candidates were expected to explain the following points in their answers:

- Polaroid Camera/Instant;

- Monorail/technical camera;

- View camera;

- Digital single lens reflex camera (DSLR);

- Compact/Point and shoot.

(b)
- Keep camera away from dirt/dust;

- keep camera in cases/bags when not in use;

- keep the lens cap on when not in use;

- protect camera from moisture/water/chemical;

- protect camera from extreme temperature such as excessive heat, hot sun, inside closed vehicle and excessive cold;

- turn off the camera before storage;

- keep in clean, dry place;

- remove battery from camera when not in use for up to 3 months;

- use camera lens tissue/fibre/soft cloth and lens cleaning solution to remove grease or water spots from the lens.
