    Observation


    This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was very good.
    In part (a) candidates mentioned stunt activities in gymnastics correctly.  In part (b) candidates mentioned phases common to through vault and astride vault in gymnastics correctly.   In part (c) candidates stated correctly ways by which a performer can prevent injuries during gymnastic activity. However, in part (d), candidates could not describe the progression stages involved in the execution of forward roll in gymnastics.

    • finish in a standing position.
