Observation

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was good.  In part(a) candidates correctly listed individual floor activities in gymnastics.
In part (b) candidates also correctly stated ways through which a performer can prevent injuries in gymnastics.

(b)    Ways through which a performer can prevent injuries in Gymnastics
     -         perform within ability
     -         avoid wearing ornamentals, wrist watches, rings, belt/named
    -         proceed from simple to complex/from known to unknown
      -         obey instructions and regulations for performance
    -          warm up before the main activity
    -          stop activity when tired
    -          avoid distraction during performance
    -          check apparatus before use
    -          hall/gymnasiun   should be free of hazardous materials
    -          wear well fitted clothes/appropriate sportswear
     -            never change mind in the middle of performance
    -          make use of spotter
    -          skill acquisition of the performer
    -          a gymnast should avoid performing immediately after meals
