Observation

Candidates were required to make a freehand sketch of a spirit level.

Most of the candidates did not attempt this question and the few that attempted it did not perform well.

Candidates were expected to do the following:

1. sketch pictorial view;     
2. sketch to proportion;                       
3. sketch the stock with thickness;         
4. sketch levelling spirits.
