(a) two styles in long jump event;
(b)        two middle distance races;
                                
        (c)        one event in which  competitors run over obstacles;
        
        (d)        three long distance races;
        
        (e)         two styles in shot put event.                          
Observation
This  question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was very poor. 
 In part (a) candidates could not  correctly name styles in long jump event.    Candidates missed the    track 
 by writing approach run, take off,  flight, landing triple jump, fosbury flop, hop, step and jump.
 In part (b) candidates correctly named  middle distance race.
 In part (c)  candidates also missed this question by  writing 800m, 1.600m, Hop, step and jump, long jump  and cross country.  In part (d)  candidates performance was fair, few candidates also missed the 
 correct answers by writing 1000m, 500m,  800m, in part (e) few candidates correctly name styles in shot  
 put event, others wrote out of contest  by writing bending, running  through, allowing shot to rest on
 fingers, dirty neck and dirty fingers.
            However, the expected answers are as  follows:
