(a) Outline the First Aid measures for each of the following injuries:
(i)         dislocated ankle;
        
        (ii)        fractured leg.
(b) Name the two groups of muscles in the thigh.
Observation
This  question was attempted by few candidates and their performance was good.   
In  part (a)(i) and (ii) candidates correctly outlined the First Aid Measures for  dislocated ankle and fractured leg.  In  part (b) candidates correctly named groups of muscles in the thigh.
The expected answers are as follows:
7.         (a)(i)    FIRST  AID FOR DISLOCATED ANKLE
    -           immobilize  the ankle/support/rest  
    -           tie  ankle with bandage and splints       
    -           remove  victim from the field with a stretcher
    -           apply  cold compress
    -           take  victim to the hospital/named        
    -           put  affected ankle in a comfortable position/elevate the ankle                                                                        
    
(ii)        FIRST  AID FOR FRACTURED LEG
    -           arrest  bleeding/explained
    -           immobilize  the affected part/explained
    -           put  victim in a comfortable position/elevate the leg
    -           take  victim to hospital
    -           re-assure  the victim
    -           apply  ice berg to reduce swelling and relieve pain 
    
    (b)        MUSCLES OF THE THIGH
    -           hamstrings/bicep  femoris 
-         quadriceps/rectus femoris
