Observation
This question was attempted by many candidates and  their performance was fair.
In part (a)(i) and (ii) candidates correctly defined  the term physical fitness and alsocorrectly stated ways of caring for  sportswear although, few candidates wrote wrong answers such as keep in good  condition, keep it clean, must be used with care, to be used only for sports  and hanging sportswear only on the hanger. In part (b) candidates could not  correctly name types of physical handicaps that require adapted physical  education programme, few of the candidates wrote answers such as one legged  person, one armed man, imbecile and people on wheel chairs.
The expected answers are as follows:

- The ability of the body to perform  daily activities efficiently without 
    undue  fatigue and yet has enough energy reserve to meet emergencies 
    
    (ii)   WAYS  OF CARING FOR SPORTWEAR
-           washing

    -            sunning from time to time
    -            ironing
    -            sewing of torn parts
    -            storing in dry and airy place                           
(b) TYPES OF PHYSICAL HANDICAPS THAT REQUIRE AN ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMME
-           deafness/dumbness/hearing problems
    -           blindness/visual impairment
    -           paraplegia/lameness
    -           paralysis
    -           amputation
