General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking was exhaustive and flexible.

The performance of the candidates was slightly poorer than the previous year with candidates population of 7,139 which had a raw mean score of 63 and standard deviation of 12.25 against the WASSCE for School Candidates 2017 which had a candidates population of 6,372 with a raw mean score of 64 and standard deviation of 11.83.
