Observation
This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was fair. Some candidates could not skillfully perform through vault through the phases of approach, hand placement, take-off, leg position and landing.
However, the expected answers are as follows:
Activity 9: Hand stand
1. The activity will be on the basis of process evaluation only.
2. Three trials are allowed and the best trial is recorded as score.

All performances will be judged according to the following rubrics.
Stance
(i) in a standing position
(ii) hands raised up
(iii) legs shoulder width apart
Take-off
(i) palms places on the floor/mat
(ii) shoulder width apart
(iii) take off on one leg
Execution
(i) palms planted firmly on the ground
(ii) two legs are up
(iii) legs closed together
Body Position
(I) two legs are up and toes pointing up forward
(II) the back is slightly arched
(iii) the body is balanced
(iv) hands are fully stretched and straight
Recovery
(i) lower the legs one after the other
(ii) back to a standing position
