Observation
This question was attempted by few candidates and their performance was poor. Candidates could not properly demonstrate bounce pass against the calibrated wall.
However, the expected answers are as follows:
Activity 4: Bounce Pass in Basketball Game
Procedure: The candidate assumes a standing position 6 metres away from the wall, demonstrates a bounce pass against it.
Use the scale of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 to score on hold, stance and execution as the candidate performs the activity.

All performances will be judged according to the following rubrics.
Hold
(i) with two hands
(ii) fingers spread around the ball
(iii) thumbs behind the ball
(iv) at chest level
(v) close to the body
Stance
(i) in a standing position
(ii) one leg forward
(iii) feet in contact with the ground
(iv) elbows bent side ways
(v) focus on the target
Execution
(i) full extension of arms
(ii) wrists are snapped
(iii) ball push forcefully forward and downward
(iv) body lean forward
(v) rear leg moves forward/follow through.
Product Evaluation
The purpose is to measure accuracy in bounce pass. The diagram below shows the position of the candidate to the calibrated wall. Three trials are allowed and the best is recorded as the score.
