Skillfully execute a 200m race through the phases of the start, take-off, running form and finish as fast as possible. [25 marks]
Observation
This  question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was good. 
However,  the expected answers are as follows:
Activity 2: Execution of a 200 metres race
Procedure: Candidate is to undergo normal command of starting a sprint race using the crouch start. The candidate runs as fast as possible through the phases of the start, take-off, running form and finish.
Use the scale of scale 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 as shown below to rate the candidate’s performance.

All performances will be judged according to the following rubrics.
Start
 (i)       assume  a crouch position
    (ii)       body is some distance behind scratch line
    (iii)      hands placed on the ground with shoulder  width apart
    (iv)      head dropped.
    (v)       rock body forward and upward/transfer  body weight to the hand
    (vi)      raise the head slight/look a few meters ahead
Take-off
(i)        push off with force
    (ii)       full extension of rear/push off leg
    (iii)      forcefully swung of the arm opposite to  the rear leg/push off leg
    (iv)      gradual rise into an erect position
    (v)       head slightly raised
Running form
(i)        high knee/knee raise
    (ii)       full extension of the legs
    (iii)      land on the ball of the feet
    (iv)      swing arms forward and backward  alternatively
    (v)       look straight/look forward
Finish
(i)        end with speed
    (ii)       keep head forward
    (iii)      lean the body forward/chest/torso 
    (iv)      maintain balance
    (v)       cross the finish line
