This question was popular among the candidates. In 2(a), most of the candidates could explain what is meant by communal land tenure system. Further to this, many of them were able to state two objectives of each of agricultural development programmes (i.e. farm settlement schemes, river basin authorities and agricultural development projects.
However, in 2(c)(i) majority of the candidates were unable to distinguish between farm machinery and farm implements. In 2(c)(ii), most of the candidates could not give six correct examples each of farm machinery and farm implements.
The expected answers include:

Farm machinery are mechanical devices with parts working together in order to apply power in carrying our farm operations;
Whereas:
Farm implements are devices which are hitched/hooked/attached/ connected /mounted onto a machine to accomplish a specific objective/operation on the farm.
