This question was very popular among the candidates. In 4(a), majority of the candidates were able to list the factors that affect the type of soil formed at a place. Further to this, most of the candidates were able to state two agricultural and two non agricultural uses of land as required in 4(b)(i-ii). More so, most of the candidates were able to state two functions and deficiency symptoms of nitrogen and potassium in crops. Also in 4(d) majority of the candidates were able to mention two ways in which soil structure is important in agriculture. |
