(c)        (i)         State two measures for preventing steel reinforcement bars in concrete floor
                        slabs from pulling out.

OBSERVATION

Most candidates were able to:

  • sketch a two-panel door and label the parts;
  • use a sketch to illustrate a method of preventing the uplift of a roof by strong wind;
  • state two measures for preventing steel reinforcement bars in concrete floor slabs  from pulling out;
  • illustrate the measures for preventing steel reinforcement bars in concrete.
