General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straightforward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible and the rubrics were clear.

The performance of the candidates was worse than the previous year with a population of 45,435 and a raw mean score of 35.0 and standard deviation of 14.11  against the WASSCE for School Candidates 2022 which had a population of 46,419 with a raw mean score of 30.0 and standard deviation of 12.65.
