This question was popular among the candidates. However, their performance in
the question was just fair because many of those who answered the question
could not draw good outline map of Nigeria. This made them lose precious
marks, as such candidates could not properly locate the industrial zones and the
industrial products. Many of the candidates that answered the question were
able to highlight the importance of lumbering to Nigeria.
However, some could not explain the major problems arising from lumbering in
Nigeria. The expected answers include:

desertification;
extinction of endangered species;
