The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. 
  The questions were straight forward and covered a wide range of the syllabus.
The marking scheme was flexible and comprehensive.

 The performance of the candidates was slightly better than the previous year with a candidates population of 3,545 which had a raw mean score of 30 and standard deviation of 15.00 against a raw mean score of 27 and standard deviation of 15.07 for the November/December 2012, WASSCE, which had a candidates population  of 3,795.
