Weakness/Remedies
Questions were not answered as expected; many candidates generalized their answers out of the context of the texts while others merely narrated the storyline in the texts.
Suggested Remedies
(1)        Schools, government and parents should encourage the students to read by providing the prescribed texts in the library and at home.
(2)        Training programmes such as seminars and workshops should be organized by stakeholders in education to train and retrain teachers of Literature-In-English.
(3)        Extra curricular activities that could promote reading culture among the students should be encouraged in schools.
(4)        Teachers of Literature-In-English could attend WAEC Marking Coordination as a training programme, this will assist them in teaching the subject better in class.
