Examine the poet’s attitude to man inUpon An Honest Man’s Fortune

Observation

The poet:
            (i)         blames man for his misplace belief in astrologers;
            (ii)        blames man for his failure to appreciate God’s love for him;
            (iii)       castigates man for putting his trust on worthless astrologers, instead of in
God;
(iv)       chides man for his short-sightedness and lack of belief in the power of God over his life;
(v)        is surprised at man’s forgetfulness that he can work himself to glory through hard work;
(vi)       is worried about man’s fear of facts of life like affliction, sickness and death.

The few candidates that attempted this question performed poorly.
