Observation

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was good .  In part (a)(i) candidates correctly define hurdle race in athletics, in (a)(ii) candidates could not correctly mention phases in hurdle race in athletics and in (a)(iii) candidates correctly mention events in  hurdle race in athletics.  In part (b) candidates correctly mention methods used in discus throw event.   In part (c)(i) candidates correctly mention middle distance race in athletics and in(c)(ii) candidates were able to state differences between sprint races and middle distance races.

The correct answers were as follows:
