(1) Two views of a block are given in first angle projection as shown in the figure below. Sketch approximately full size, the isometric view of the block, with point X the lowest.
Observation
Candidates were asked to draw the given block in isometric making point K the lowest. Most of the candidates attempted this question and did very well.
Candidates were expected to:
- sketch in isometric, full size;
- draw all the faces;
- draw for resemblance;
- draw to proportion.
