Candidates were required to make a freehand pictorial sketch of engineer’s sliding bevel. Very few candidates attempted this question and they could not draw the tool properly.
Observation
Candidates were expected to do the following:
- sketch the pictorial view;
- draw the stock “A” and show the thickness;
- draw the blade “B” and show the thickness;
- draw the screw;
- draw for resemblance;
- draw to proportion.
