Candidates were asked to make a freehand pictorial sketch of an odd-leg caliper. Most of the candidates who attempted this question could not draw the required tool correctly. Most of the candidates do not know the tool.
Observation
Candidates were required to do the following:
- sketch the pictorial view;
- draw leg “A” and show the thickness;
- draw leg “B” and show the thickness;
- draw rivet/screw;
- draw for resemblance;
- draw to proportion.
