Observation

 

The question is on grammar, candidates were required to state what qualifies verb in a sentence in (a) and list three types of it and construct a sentence with each in (b). The following explanations and examples are required from the candidates:
           
(a) Bayanau ne yake yin ƙarin haske a kan aikatau a cikin jumla.

(b) Ire-irensa:

            (i)         Bayanau na wuri;
            (ii)       Bayanau na yanayi;
(iii)      Bayanau na lokaci.

Misalin bayanau na wuri:

                        Audu ya shiga can gidan.
                        Yara sun tsaya a makaranta.
                        Ɗalibai sun zo daga Kano.
                        Yaron ya shiga nan gidan.
A makaranta Bala ya haɗu da Kande.
                        Ta ƙasa Idi ya fita.
                        A Legas Tanko ya zauna.

Misalin bayanau na yanayi:

                                    Musa ya kwanta a rigingine.
                                    Yaron ya ci jarabawa da kyau.
                                    Malam yana tafiya a hankali.
                                    Ragunan sun shigo a guje.
                                    A karkace motar take tafiya.
                                    A fusace ɗaliban suka shigo.
                                    Da sauri Isah ya fice.

                        Misalin bayanau na lokaci:

                                    Bello ya zo jiya.
                                    An ba wa ɗalibai hutu yau.
                                    Yaron zai koma da yamma.
                                    Zan zo gidanka da rana.
                                    Ɗazu suka koma makaranta.
                                    A daminar bana an yi ambaliyar ruwa.
                                    A wannan shekara an noma gwaza.

Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was not encouraging.
