This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was
poor. In part (a) (i) candidates could not correctly say what ergogenic aid mean,
candidates gave wrong definition of ergogenic aid as any external influence that
can be determined to enhance information that can be determined to enhance
information in high intensive exercise and in (a)(ii) Candidates gave wrong answers
such as mechanical, physiological as examples of ergogenic aids. In part (b)(i) candidates
could not correctly state the main difference between the award given to a winner in
the ancient Olympic Games and the Modern Olympic Games and in (b)(ii) candidates
correctly stated values of Physical Education to the Society meanwhile, few went off the track.
