A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

                        Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in these areas:
           
                        -           difference between a linotype and monotype composition;
                        -           naming parts of type;
-           uses of lithographic process;
-           sketch of cylinder arrangement on lithographic wet offset machine.

            (b)       SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

In order to overcome these weaknesses, candidates are hereby advised to study harder and pay regular visit to the printing workshop.
