question 3 Number 1317, 25-33
(a)Give an account of the report of the spies Moses sent to the land of Canaan.
(b)Identify two lessons that can be drawn from this incident.

Observation

Most of the candidates that attempted this question could not do justice to the historical facts required in the question.  Most of their points were scanty and as a result they scored very low marks.  They failed to mention such points as
(i) King Nebuchadnezzar besieged Jerusalem (ii) He carried away all the treasures in the king’s house (iii) Able bodied people in Jerusalem were carried away ((iv) They left behind the poorest of the land.

The (b) part of the question was well taken care of as majority of them were able to give correct answers that fetched them good marks.
