This question was unpopular with the candidates. The few that answered it
performed badly. They were to outline the main issues Jeremiah addressed in
his prophecy of doom to Israel. In effect they were expected to point out as follows:
(i) That Israel’s descent to a slave status because of her unfaithfulness to God;
(ii) The law makers did not know God;
(iii) That God’s word will burn them like fire and He will use a powerful nation to punish Israel;
(iv) They kill their prophets and kill the poor.
But in part (b), they were able to mention that:
(i)He had strong faith;
(ii)He was tender hearted;
(iii)He was a man of strong character.
